Fruit, a 777 wild and gold coins

Strip out the coins and Joker Pyre is a fruit machine. The grid is 3x4, three reels and four rows, with 8 betways paying left to right, and the symbols are old-school: cherries, oranges, watermelons, lemons, plums and grapes, all with grinning cartoon faces, plus BAR, bells and a 777 that acts as the Wild. Stakes run from €0.10 to €100, and the green spin button doubles as Hold for Turbo.

The gold coins that drop in among the fruit change the game. Coin multipliers start at 1x and run past 15x, with 3x, 5x, 7x and 10x in between; other coins carry a jackpot name or the joker’s face. Fruit lines pay the ordinary way, as in the shot below, where a cherry line runs through the 777 marked WILD on the third reel. Enough coins at once tip the spin into Hold & Win, and that round holds most of the game’s value.

The coins: Joker Coin, Super Joker Coin and Joker Boost

Two special coins and one random feature carry the game:

• Joker Coin - the coin that drives the bonus. Collecting one or more is what triggers the Hold & Win round.

Hold & Win: respins that reset to three

The trigger is loud: the reels flash red behind a crackling frame, then the coins lock in place and the fruit clears away. Respins follow, counted by three lamps under the grid. Each new coin puts the counter back to three, and when it runs down without a new coin the round ends. Coins keep their values throughout, so a long chain stacks multipliers and jackpots across the board.

When the respins run out, every coin value on the board is added together and paid. A Super Joker Coin is the swing symbol, because it sweeps up everything else; in the Super Bonus below that one coin sits alone on the board, already showing 1,050.

Mini to Grand: the jackpot ladder

The ladder above the joker’s head lists four fixed prizes, each a multiple of the bet: Mini (25x), Minor (50x), Major (150x) and Grand (1,000x). The panel shows them in cash at your current stake, so at the €100 maximum the Grand reads €100,000. They arrive as coin values inside Hold & Win or through the Joker Boost; there is no separate jackpot wheel. The later jester slot, Joker’s Clash, reuses the exact ladder.

Bonus Buy: 75x for a Joker Coin, 200x for the Super

The Buy Bonus plaque to the left of the reels opens two cards. Bonus guarantees one or more Joker Coins to start the round; Super Bonus starts you with a Super Joker Coin already on the grid. The prices scale with the bet at 75x and 200x, the same pair InOut charge on Fruit Love Fever.

A buy is not free value. You pay up front for a round whose outcome still swings hard, and the Super Bonus we bought came back well under its price, as the total below shows.

Medium-high variance at 96%

The return is 96%, the usual figure for InOut slots. Variance is medium-high: the base game drips small fruit wins and the odd coin, while the money sits in Hold & Win and the jackpots, which come in clusters rather than steadily. That wait is why the two buys exist. A session can run far below 96% for a long stretch before a good bonus turns up.

What to test on play money

Two things are worth measuring in the demo before a real stake goes in: how many base spins pass between coin landings, and how differently the two buys behave at the same bet. In the burger menu the «Space» to spin & go switch was already on in our session, so on a desktop the spacebar spins.
